No. It makes a seasonal Halloween display, but the black crystal tree and dark miniature scene can stay on a desk or shelf whenever that style suits your space.
Will every obsidian tree look identical?
Natural obsidian varies in tone, sheen, shape, and texture, and the hand-assembled tree and miniature placement may vary slightly from the photographs.
How should I care for it?
Keep the tin and sand dry, secure the miniature pieces before moving it, and use a soft, dry brush to return displaced sand. Keep the loose sand and small decorative parts away from young children and pets.
