Before your first garden
Will the quartz stones look exactly like the photos?
The two natural clear quartz stones vary in shape, clarity and internal markings. Some appear more translucent, others cloudier; each pair brings its own details to the garden.
Where should I set up the garden?
Choose a flat, stable surface with room for the open tin and your hand as you arrange the sand. Keep it away from drinks, strong drafts and the edge of the surface. The closed tin measures 9.5 × 7 × 2.5 cm (approximately 3.7 × 2.8 × 1 in).
How should I care for the garden?
Keep the sand, tin and decorative pieces dry. Dust the flowers gently with a soft, dry brush and wipe the glass vase with a soft, dry cloth. Before moving the garden, pack the glass vase and stones separately to prevent knocks, and return loose sand to its bag.
Small, calm, and beautifully made.
The watering can and little glass vase are what drew me to this. I like that the daisies give it a flower-garden feeling, while the quartz and sand leave something to arrange by hand. This would be my choice for someone who enjoys miniature scenes more than crystal trees. I would give the vase its own protected spot when putting everything away; it is a glass piece among stones and metal accessories.
